Playable product demo
Hit the shield yourself.
Fire projectiles into four holographic energy shields, hold a sustained beam, change impact power and switch to the planar force-field barrier. This browser preview is adapted for Compatibility; the downloadable asset targets Forward+.
Loads about 9 MB after launch. Requires WebAssembly, WebGL 2 and a desktop pointer.

Stack rapid impact VFX.
Fire repeated projectiles and watch every hit effect keep its own position, power and fade across the shield.
LMB · projectileHold the beam on contact.
Keep the beam pressed against a shield to see the contact flare, repeated ripples and audio loop build together.
RMB · sustained beamTest a non-spherical shield.
Switch from the four-sphere array to the included planar barrier without leaving the live demo.
HUD switch · planar meshshield.register_hit(hit_world_position, impact_power)Pass the hit position and power. Holo Shield handles the response.

Built to sit beside your combat code.
Holo Shield does not replace damage, health or weapon logic. Your game sends a world-space contact point and impact power; the controller converts that hit into local shield data, then drives the ripple, flash, impact VFX and positional sound. That separation lets the same Godot 4 energy shield shader drive a holographic barrier or force field for hitscan weapons, physical projectiles and sustained beams without forcing a specific combat architecture. Start with the spherical and planar examples, or apply the material to your own closed 3D shell while your existing scripts keep ownership of gameplay.
Full source. Edit the shader, scripts, materials, scenes and audio.
Commercial use. Use and customize it in unlimited client and commercial projects.
No activation. No royalties, runtime license checks or online dependency.

Quick answers
Questions, answered.
Compatibility, setup, licensing and refunds — without surprises.
What is included?
The complete shield scene, editable shader and GDScript source, impact VFX, sustained beam contact, positional audio, colour presets and two playable demo scenes.
How hard is it to connect?
Send the hit position and power with one public call. Holo Shield handles the local response, ripple and fade.
Can I use it as a force field or barrier?
Yes. Use the included spherical holographic shield and planar barrier, or turn your own closed shell mesh into a force field with a matching 3D collision shape.
Will it work in my project?
The downloadable package targets 3D projects using Godot 4.7+ and Forward+. The live browser demo is a Compatibility export adapted for evaluation; Web and Compatibility support are not part of the purchased release.
Can I use it in commercial projects?
Yes. Use and customize Holo Shield in unlimited personal, client and commercial projects without royalties. The source package cannot be redistributed as a standalone asset.
What is the refund policy?
If Holo Shield does not work as described and the issue cannot be resolved, contact Vav Labs support. Requests are handled under the published Refund Policy and applicable statutory rights.
